I'm equal parts warm and cool (but never pretentious), passionate and intellectual, elegant and a little goofy. (Someone once told me affectionately that I'm the "goofiest elegant person—or the most elegant, goofy person" he's met. We all contain multitudes, as they say.) My favorite moments look a little like this: Stumbling out of a restaurant brimming with laughter, your hand in mine. The electric hush of the opera house as the lights go down. Waking up next to you, a drowsy morning that later feels like a dream. There is magic in unlikely places. In breath caught between crisp hotel sheets on a weekday afternoon, in the hazy glow of golden hour from the 30th floor and the electric shock of your hand brushing my waist. I seek exceptional experiences with singular company—experiences that make me feel something—the sublime, the absurd, the very very beautiful. I find that here in moments of true connection and sincerity, in minutes of hazy euphoria that happen between hotel sheets on an otherwise normal afternoon and secrets that only we carry when we part. Truly, I want to want, and I want to be wanted. I want the dull ache that comes from waiting for someone you like too much. (Give me reasons to think about you when we're apart...) It's clichéd to say you're a hedonist, or to say you want to do everything, but these things are true. I want to say "yes" to as many experiences as I can—to make my heart beat a little too fast and break a few rules that were meant to be broken anyway. Sometimes I feel paralyzed by what feels like the infinite branching of possibilities in front of me. I am curious, seeking curiosity. Are you curious too?
